Sunday Sunday #1
Sunday might be the best day to spend some time in East London. Especially if the weather is nice and sunny. And yes, despite what people might say about London – it’s nice and sunny on Sundays quite often.
The best way to start a Sunday is the Flower Market on Columbia Road. The market opens at 8am and runs until 12, which usually means you have to get up rather early on a Sunday. Columbia Road is packed with people on Sunday mornings, everything is lively, colourful and really beautiful.
Strolling down the street and looking at oceans of flowers and plants is a really good way to start a Sunday.
It’s rather hard to get there, though, since it’s quite a walk from every tube around. But it’s really worth the effort and everyone spending a weekend in London should really spend his Sunday morning on Columbia Road.
