Sunday Sunday #2
Taking a walk to Columbia Road on a Sunday is not just about the Flower Market. There are tiny shops and galleries everywhere as well, they sell things you wouldn’t get anywhere else and they are all just lovely in general.
There are shops that sell things for your garden or for the flowers you bought at the market outside.
There’s a great candy shop as well that looks like you just had been transferred back to the 1920s.
Oh, and a shop that sells… they don’t actually just sell caps.
And one that sells a LOT of cupcakes.
It’s really worth seeing all those sweet little shops and just stroll along there. Most of them only open on Sundays, when the Flower Market takes place and Columbia Road is really lively.
I haven’t been there on any other day myself, but from what I heard you wouldn’t recognize what a great place it is during the week.
